Regular Season Round 4: Antibes - Orleans 76-70

Not a big story in a game when 14th ranked Entente Orleans 45 (1-3) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Olympique Antibes (3-1) 76-70. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts were ahead by 1 point but lost the second period ending it with a 3-point deficit before their 25-16 run, which allowed them to win the game. The winners were led by American Tim Blue (205-84, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and Isaia Cordinier (194-96) supported him with 17 points. Even a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds by American swingman Micah Downs (195-86, college: Gonzaga) did not help to save the game for Entente Orleans 45. His fellow American import point guard Kyle McAlarney (183-87, college: Notre Dame) added 13 points and 4 assists for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Olympique Antibes moved-up to third place, which they share with Pau-Lacq-Orthez and Paris-Levallois. Entente Orleans 45 at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with three games lost. Olympique Antibes' next round opponent will be ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (#12) at home and are hoping to win another game. Entente Orleans 45 will play against Limoges CSP Elite and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
