Very expected game when Caceres Basket (0-3) was rolled over at home by Leche Rio Breogan (3-0) 113-50 on Friday. The game without a history. Leche Rio Breogan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Caceres Basket's 18 and had 24 for 33 from the free-throw line, while Caceres Basket only scored five points from the stripe. Leche Rio Breogan forced 24 Caceres Basket turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Leche Rio Breogan especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. Caceres Basket was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was power forward Ivan Cruz Uceda (208-91, college: Miami, FL) who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Nigeria-American forward Michael Fakuade (201-89, college: Ill.-Springfield) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five Leche Rio Breogan players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Sergio Perez (205-79) who recorded 16 points and Montenegrin guard Nikola Rakocevic (191-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 13 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Leche Rio Breogan will face Palencia Baloncesto (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Caceres Basket will play against Oviedo CB (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
