Regular Season Round 6: Caen - St Vallier 66-75

The most important game in the last round took place in Caen between second ranked Caen (4-2) and sixth ranked Saint Vallier (4-2) on Friday night. Caen was defeated by Saint Vallier in a tough game at home 66-75. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Caen. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 35-20 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Saint Vallier looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Monteiro (196-90, college: Duquesne) with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and Bryson Pope (198-90, college: Kent St.) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Saint Vallier moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Caen. Saint Vallier is looking forward to face UB Chartres (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Caen will play against Union Rennes (#10) and is hoping to win this game.
