Important game to mention about took place in Buenos Aires. Ninth ranked Boca Juniors (2-5) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 8th ranked Quilmes MP (2-6) 70-67 on Saturday evening. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 70-67. Boca Juniors dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Quilmes MP's 18 and made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Quilmes MP 47-18 including a 12-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. Greek Fotios Lampropoulos (206-83) had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Lucas Perez (185-87) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Boca Juniors players scored in double figures. Boca Juniors' coach Ronaldo Cordoba used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was international guard Luca Vildoza (190-95) with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and Enzo Ruiz (193-88, agency: DTMones) scored 22 points. Boca Juniors moved-up to seventh place in Sur, which they share with Argentino. Quilmes MP lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. Boca Juniors will have a break next round. Quilmes MP will play on the road against Obras Basket (#6) in Buenos Aires and hope to win that game.
