Everything could happen in Warszawa at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked Legia W-wa and 7th ranked Notec Inowr. had identical 2-1 record. This time Legia W-wa used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Inowroclaw 85-62 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Legia W-wa. Notec Inowr. was better in second period 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Legia W-wa forced 20 Notec Inowr. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Lukasz Wilczek (190-86) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals and Piotr Robak (194-91) who added 20 points during the contest. Four Legia W-wa players scored in double figures. At the losing side Marcin Kowalewski (200-86, agency: Promotex) responded with 9 points and 6 rebounds and Mikolaj Grod (194-89) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Legia W-wa have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Notec Inowr. dropped to the eighth position with two games lost. Legia W-wa will face SKK Siedlce (#5) on the road in the next round. Notec Inowr. will play against Polonia Leszno and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
