Very expected game when 7th ranked Azuqueca (2-2) was defeated at home by top-ranked La Roda (4-0) 73-68 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back winning next two quarters and won the game by 5 points. Worth to mention a great performance of Senegalese power forward Michel Diouf (208-90) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds and forward Norman Rey (203-87) who added 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four La Roda players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian power forward Branislav Tomic (205-80) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Jorge Tejera (200-92) scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. La Roda have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group B with 4-0 record, which they share with Real Madrid II. Loser Azuqueca keeps the seventh place with two games lost. La Roda will face league's second-placed Real Madrid II at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Azuqueca will play against Getafe (#16) in Madrid and hope to win that game.
