Regular Season Round 2: Rotterdam - Den Bosch 74-71

Important game to mention about took place in Rotterdam. Rotterdam (1-1) saved a 3-point victory at home edging Dukes UDB (0-2) 74-71 on Saturday evening. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Dukes UDB won third quarter 15-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American guard Anthlon Bell (190-93, college: Arkansas) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Sam Van Dijk (194-96) contributed with 8 points and 4 assists for the winners. The former international forward Stefan Wessels (203-84) replied with 21 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Maarten Bouwknecht (185-94) added 19 points and 4 assists in the effort for Dukes UDB. Four Dukes UDB players scored in double figures. Rotterdam will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Dukes UDB will play at home against Zwolle (#3) to get more than just one victory in their record.
