Regular Season Round 4: Ardoi - Easo 67-66

Everything could happen in Zizur Mayor at the game between two tied teams. Both top-ranked Ardoi and one of their biggest challengers Easo had identical 1-0 record. This time Ardoi used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from San Sebastian 67-66 on Saturday night. It was a key game for the top position in Group A-A. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 22-16 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Ukrainian forward Anton Savitski (196-86) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 rebounds and Ignacio Urtasun (-80) who added 16 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Mikel Esnaola (200-94, agency: Dynamics Global Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Inaki Nagore (174-91) scored 11 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Ardoi maintains first position in Group A-A with 2-0 record, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Easo dropped to the sixth place with one game lost. Ardoi will face TAKE Tolosa (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Easo will play against Burgos (#9) and hope to win that game.
