Regular Season Round 4: Gijon - Rosalia 66-67

Rosalia's road win over one of their biggest challengers Gijon 67-66 was very exciting and close contest. It was a key game for the top position in Group A-B. The guests trailed by 8 points after three quarters before their 19-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Alfonso Mallo (200-88) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 5 rebounds and guard Anton Bouzan (188-95) who added 20 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Dani Gonzalez (202-84) responded with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists and American point guard Nyles Evans (180-92, college: Akron) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Rosalia (2-0) keeps a position of Group A-B leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Gijon dropped to the sixth place with one game lost. Rosalia will face Naron (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gijon will play against Leon and hope to win that game.
