Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Kouvottaret and 8th ranked Peli-Karhut had identical 1-2 record. This time Kouvottaret used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Kotka 66-59. Peli-Karhut was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 39-30 second half run of Kouvottaret. They made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a very good performance for point guard Khadijah Sessions (173-93, college: S.Carolina, agency: Merit Management Group) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Almesha Jones (168-93, college: Morehead St., agency: Gamble Sports Management) replied with 15 points and 5 assists and forward Fatima Adams (178, college: Arkansas Tech) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Peli-Karhut. Kouvottaret (2-2) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Peli-Karhut lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with three games lost. Kouvottaret's next round opponent will be Helmi Basket (#9) in Helsinki where they are favorite.
