Regular Season Round 4: Igualada - Andorra II 82-64

There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked Igualada (1-2) defeated at home 10th ranked Andorra II (1-2) 82-64 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Igualada. Andorra II was better in third quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of center Eduard Tejero (195-92) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 7 rebounds and Jordi Torres (188-83) who added 13 points during the contest. Four Igualada players scored in double figures. At the losing side Nil Bria (195-97) responded with 14 points and Danish forward Stefan Jevric (200-98) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Igualada left bottom position moving up to eighth place in Group C-B, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Andorra II. Igualada will face higher ranked Sitges (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
