Regular Season Round 7: Ehime OV - Kagawa FA 88-83

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Kagawa FA's (1-6) road loss to fourth ranked Orange Vikings (3-4) 83-88 on Saturday. Kagawa FA trailed by 14 points after 3 quarters before a 26-17 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 83-88 at the end of the game. It was a great evening for guard Toshino Tatsuhiko (185-88) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. U.S. Virgin Islands center Craig Williams (206-89, college: TCU) helped adding 16 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side Vincentian power forward Nyika Williams (203-87, college: Pacific) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Jamaica power forward Adrian Forbes (211-88, college: Auburn, agency: Haylett Sports) scored 9 points and 14 rebounds. Five Orange Vikings and four Kagawa FA players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Orange Vikings have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Bambitious Nara. Kagawa FA lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with six games lost. Orange Vikings will face again Kagawa FA (#5) in Takamatsu in the next round.
