Regular Season Round 3: AZS UMCS - MKK Siedlce 85-54

The game with biggest result difference took place in Lublin. Local AZS UMCS (2-1) outscored MKK Siedlce (0-3) 85-54 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by AZS UMCS. MKK Siedlce was better in third quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AZS UMCS forced 20 MKK Siedlce turnovers. The best player for the winners was Nigeria forward Uju Ugoka (185-93, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Two Points) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds. International point guard Dominika Owczarzak (168-94) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Four AZS UMCS players scored in double figures. AZS UMCS's coach Krzysztof Szewczyk felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Ukrainian forward Oksana Mollova (188-88) who recorded 17 points and 9 rebounds and guard Katarzyna Trzeciak (173-92, agency: Promotex) added 6 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. AZS UMCS will face Sleza Wroclaw (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. MKK Siedlce will play against Energa Torun (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
