Regular Season Round 4: Reims - COB Calais 59-64

Very significant was COB Calais' (#5) 64-59 road victory against one of their biggest challengers Reims. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Reims. Reims was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 34-26 second half run of COB Calais. Reims was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by Ornella Bankole (181-97) who scored that evening 14 points and 5 rebounds and Serbian center Ana Radovic (190-90, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Even 22 points by guard Fleur Devillers (181-95) did not help to save the game for Reims. Sarah Ousfar (183-93) added 9 points and 12 rebounds for lost side. COB Calais (3-1) moved-up to third place, which they share with SIG and Avenir. Reims at the other side dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. They share it with Arras and Roannais. COB Calais will play against Dunkerque (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Reims will play against CFBB (#13) in Paris and hopes to get back on the winning track.
