Regular Season Round 3: Sleza Wroclaw - Wisla Can-Pack 65-71

We should mention about the upset which took place in Wroclaw, where Sleza Wroclaw (1-2) lost at home to Wisla Can-Pack (2-1) 65-71. Sleza Wroclaw was ahead by 5 points after three quarters before a 19-8 charge of Wisla Can-Pack, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for the former international center Ewelina Kobryn (193-82) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. American guard Meighan Simmons (175-92, college: Tennessee) accounted for 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. American point guard Sharnee Zoll-Norman (170-86, college: Virginia) came up with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals and the other American import guard Marissa Kastanek (175-90, college: N.Carolina St.) added 18 points respectively for Sleza Wroclaw in the defeat. Wisla Can-Pack's next round opponent will be Basket Gdynia (#11) at home and are hoping to win another game. Sleza Wroclaw will play against AZS UMCS in Lublin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
