Regular Season Round 6: RAC Basket - Gries/Oberhoffen 89-82

Very expected game when 12th ranked Gries/Oberhoffen (2-4) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Rueil (4-2) 89-82. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Gries/Oberhoffen won third quarter 30-27. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rueil players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a good game for American forward Will Felder (201-91, college: Miami, OH, agency: Court Side) who led his team to a victory with 21 points. Point guard Jeremy Bichard (186-90) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists for the winners. Five Rueil players scored in double figures. Ahmed Doumbia (195-89) replied with 31 points and 4 assists and Slovakian power forward Justin Sedlak (206-87, college: Florida Tech) added 19 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Gries/Oberhoffen. Gries/Oberhoffen's coach Ludovic Pouillart rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rueil have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Newly promoted Gries/Oberhoffen keeps the twelfth position with four games lost. Rueil's next round opponent will be GET Vosges (#5) in Golbey. Gries/Oberhoffen will play at home against Vitre (#4) and hope to win that game.
