Regular Season Round 6: ALS Basket - Orchies 84-72

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Andrezieux where sixteenth ranked ALS Basket (2-4) defeated 15th ranked Orchesien BC (2-4) 84-72. Orchesien BC was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 34-19 charge of ALS Basket, which allowed them to win the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for Bosnian power forward Nemanja Kovanusic (204-93) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds. Forward Stephane Neri (187-85) contributed with 18 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Five ALS Basket players scored in double figures. ALS Basket's coach Jeremy Beaufort allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Montenegrin power forward Zarko Rakocevic (204-84, agency: Mansfield and Associates) replied with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and Anthony Racine (190-94) added 18 points (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) in the effort for Orchesien BC. ALS Basket moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Orchesien BC. Orchesien BC lost third consecutive game. ALS Basket's next round opponent will be higher ranked Lorient (#11) on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
