Berazategui used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from 74-58 on Sunday night. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74-58. Berazategui dominated on the defensive end, holding Rocamora to just 6 points in second quarter. They outrebounded Rocamora 43-31 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of center Agustina Leiva (180-96) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds. Cuba center Marlenis Cepeda (193-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Berazategui players scored in double figures. Cuba Lisdeyvis Martinez (175-89) answered with 17 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Italian forward Natalia Rios (175-80) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Rocamora. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Berazategui's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Buenos Aires to the arena Obras.
