Regular Season Round 4: Castellbisbal - Arenys 75-79

There was a surprise result when top-ranked Arenys (2-0) won against on the road top-ranked Castellbisbal (2-1) 79-75 on Sunday. Castellbisbal trailed by 13 points after 3 quarters before a 27-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 75-79 at the end of the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Omar Toure (199-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 10 points and 17 rebounds and Bahamas power forward Christopher Turnquest (203-83, college: Miles CC) who added 16 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side center Gerard Galbete (204-88) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and forward Nacho Marin (201-93) scored 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Arenys moved-up to third place in Group C-A. Loser Castellbisbal dropped to the fourth position with one game lost. Arenys will face Salt (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Castellbisbal will play against AEC Collblanc (#6) in L´Hospitalet and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
