Very expected game when Namika Lr (0-2) lost to PuHu Juniorit (4-0) in Vantaa 74-89 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 45-28 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. PuHu Juniorit dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Namika Lr's 34. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for American power forward Brian Moultrie (198-87, college: Armstr.Atlantic) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 22 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Guard Oscar Lindqvist (188-90) contributed with 18 points and 4 assists for the winners. PuHu Juniorit's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Karl Engelvuori (191-95) answered with 22 points and 7 rebounds and guard Semi Laine (180-97) added 14 points and 5 assists in the effort for Namika Lr. PuHu Juniorit will face TuNMKY (#5) in Turun in the next round. Namika Lr will play at home against Korikouvot (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
