Regular Season Round 4: Menorca - JAC Sants 64-56

There was no surprise in Mahon where bottom-ranked JAC Sants (0-3) was defeated by top-ranked Menorca (3-0) 64-56 on Sunday. The game without a history. Menorca led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Daniel Garcia Tora (192-79) who helped to win the game recording 7 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and point guard Jorge Jimenez (182-81) who added 13 points during the contest. At the losing side Albert Real (189-97) responded with 11 points and forward Oscar Gonzalez (200-97) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Menorca have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of Group C-A leader, which they share with Martorell. Loser JAC Sants still closes the standings with three games lost. Menorca will face Santfeliuenc (#8) in Sant Feliu in the next round and are hoping to win another game. JAC Sants will play at home against Olivar (#14) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
