Regular Season Round 3: Djurgarden - KFUM Central 90-70

Very expected game when KFUM Central (0-2) was crushed on the road by Djurgarden (2-0) 90-70 on Sunday. The game without a history. Djurgarden led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to KFUM Central's 44. The best player for the winners was guard Brandon Barton (192-88) who scored 21 points. American power forward Joseph Taylor (202-85, college: Wyoming) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Jonatan Bohman (200-92) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and guard Nils Hedstrom (190-83) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Djurgarden will meet Alvik Basket in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KFUM Central will play against Solna Vikings (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
