Regular Season Round 3: EA7 Armani - Openjobmetis V. 79-71

Armani Milano (3-0) added another victory to their record. This time they beat Openjobmetis VA (1-2) 79-71. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Openjobmetis VA won third quarter 19-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Openjobmetis VA 38-25 including 23 on the defensive glass. It was a quality performance for Serbian Milan Macvan (206-89) who led the winners and scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. International Awudu Abass (199-93, agency: Players Group) accounted for 15 points for the winning side. Four Armani Milano players scored in double figures. Serbian swingman Aleksa Avramovic (192-94, agency: BeoBasket) came up with 19 points and 4 assists and the former international forward Luca Campani (208-90) added 14 points respectively for Openjobmetis VA in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Armani Milano will play against Brescia (#12) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Openjobmetis VA will play against Enel Brindisi (#13) to get more than just one victory in their record.
