Regular Season Round 3: FoKoPo - ToPo 87-98

There was a minor upset when Forssan Koripojat (2-2) lost at home to ToPo (2-1) 98-87 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by ToPo. Forssan Koripojat was better in fourth quarter 31-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for guard Emil Djeen (183-94, college: High School) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 6 rebounds. American swingman Nigel Moore (195-81, college: Alabama A&M) contributed with 13 points and 9 assists for the winners. ToPo's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American swingman Roderick Flemings (203-87, college: Hawaii) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) and Juho-Matti Henttonen (200-96) added 14 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Forssan Koripojat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. ToPo will face Porvoon Tarmo (#7) on the road in the next round. Forssan Koripojat will play against Pyrinto II and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
