Regular Season Round 4: Nice - Tarbes 66-50

Bottom-ranked Tarbes (0-4) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to seventh ranked Nice (2-2) 66-50. The game without a history. Nice led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winners were led by American power forward Victoria Macaulay (193-90, college: Temple, agency: Two Points) who scored that evening 16 points and 6 rebounds and international forward Laetitia Kamba (187-87, agency: Comsport) supported her with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Even 21 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) by Senegalese point guard Bintou Dieme-Marizy (164-84) did not help to save the game for Tarbes. Center Elodie Christmann (190-84) added 14 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Nice moved-up to sixth place. Newly promoted Tarbes still closes the standings with four games lost. Nice will play against Lattes Montpellier (#8) on the road in the next round. Tarbes will play against Nantes Reze (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
