The game in Kawasaki supposed to be also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Hitachi Cougars (2-2) played at the court of eighth ranked Fujitsu RW (2-2). Fujitsu RW smashed Hitachi Cougars 81-50. The game without a history. Fujitsu RW led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Hitachi Cougars' 26. They outrebounded Hitachi Cougars 54-37 including a 41-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Moeko Nagaoka (180-93) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds. International point guard Mio Shinozaki (167-91) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Elina Sugawara (177-93) who recorded 11 points and 8 rebounds and guard Yuki Kitamura (170-94) added 12 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fujitsu RW moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Hitachi Cougars and Haneda Vickies. Fujitsu RW's next round opponent will be Haneda Vickies (#7) in Tokyo.
