Regular Season Round 4: Limoges - Cholet 72-79

There was a minor upset when higher ranked Limoges CSP Elite (2-2) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Cholet Basket (2-2) 79-72. It looked good early as Limoges CSP Elite took a 3-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Cholet Basket had a 18-9 second period charge getting the lead and Limoges CSP Elite was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 72-79. The winners were led by the former international forward Ilian Evtimov (201-83, college: N.Carolina St.) who scored that evening 15 points and Puerto Rican point guard Angel Rodriguez (180-92, college: Miami, FL) supported him with 12 points and 4 assists. Even 30 points and 6 assists by American guard William Buford (196-90, college: Ohio St., agency: Two Points) did not help to save the game for Limoges CSP Elite. Slovenia guard Klemen Prepelic (191-92) added 14 points for lost side. Cholet Basket moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 5 other teams including defeated Limoges CSP Elite. Cholet Basket's next round opponent will be higher ranked Paris-Levallois (#4) at home and it may be quite challenging game.
