Bottom-ranked Umea (0-4) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to top-ranked Uppsala Basket (2-0) 85-72 on Tuesday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Uppsala Basket. Umea managed to win fourth quarter 25-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Uppsala Basket shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 56.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Norwegian-American guard Terrence Oglesby (188-88, college: Clemson) produced 16 points and 5 assists and American forward George Valentine (203-88, college: Winthrop, agency: Mansfield and Associates) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four Umea players scored in double figures. Uppsala Basket moved-up to third place. Loser Umea still closes the standings with four games lost. Uppsala Basket will meet league's leader Sodertalje Kings on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Umea will play against Malbas (#8) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
