Regular Season Round 5: Lulea Basket - Visby 91-60

Bottom-ranked Visby Ladies is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to third ranked Lulea Basket (5-2) 91-60 on Tuesday evening. Lulea Basket forced 22 Visby Ladies turnovers and outrebounded them 53-35 including a 25-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Lulea Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The former international forward Anna Barthold (185-80, college: St.Peter's) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and American guard Katie Bussey (175-90, college: Montana St., agency: LBM Management) accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds. Coach David Visscher's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Taylor Gault (173-93, college: UALR) came up with 25 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import forward Danielle McCray (185-93, college: Mississippi) added 13 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Visby Ladies in the defeat. Defending champion maintains third place with 5-2 record having just two point less than leader Udominate. Visby Ladies lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. Lulea Basket will meet Telge (#8) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Visby Ladies will play against IK Eos and hope to get finally their first victory.
