Regular Season Round 4: Noorteliiga - Valga 75-80

Bottom-ranked Audentese/N. (0-2) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their second consecutive match to second ranked Valga (3-1) 80-75. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Audentese/N. won fourth quarter 20-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. 24 personal fouls committed by Audentese/N. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a very good performance for Ivars Rihards Zvigurs (198-95) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Kristo Saage (187-85) contributed with 12 points and 5 assists for the winners. Point guard Carlos Jurgens (190-98) replied with 19 points and Taavi Jurkatamm (200-97) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Audentese/N.Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Valga have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 3-1 record having just one point less than leader TU/Rock, which they share with TTU. Audentese/N. at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. Valga's next round opponent will be Rapla (#4) at home. Audentese/N. will play against the league's leader TU/Rock in Tartu and hopes to get finally their first victory.
