Regular Season Round 5: Rosa II Radom - GKS Tychy 64-75

Bottom-ranked Rosa II Radom (0-5) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 75-64 loss to twelfth ranked GKS Tychy (2-3) in Radom. The game was mostly controlled by GKS Tychy. Rosa II Radom was better in second period 22-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Point guard Karol Szpyrka (182-87) nailed 14 points for the winning side and swingman Hubert Mazur (190-84, agency: Promotex) accounted for 11 points. GKS Tychy's coach Tomasz Jagielka allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Naturalized Bosnian power forward Seid Hajric (204-83) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Szymon Szymanski (205-96) added 8 points respectively for Rosa II Radom in the defeat. GKS Tychy moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Biofarm PZN and Notec Inowr. Rosa II Radom lost their fifth game in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. GKS Tychy's next round opponent will be Znicz Basket (#13) in Pruszkow. Rosa II Radom will play on the road against Nysa Klodzko in Kloszko and hopes to get finally their first victory.
