Regular Season Round 5: Centrum - Kongsberg 86-100

An interesting game for Kongsberg (5-0) which played road game in Oslo against 4th placed Centrum (4-2). Leader Kongsberg managed to get a 14-point victory 100-86. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Centrum. The best player for the winners was guard Oivind Lundestad (194-91, college: Point Loma) who had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field). Cuba-American guard Juan Ferrales (188-91, college: Barry) chipped in 20 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Four Kongsberg players scored in double figures. Swingman Aksel Bolinz (201-90, college: N.Illinois) produced a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds (was perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line !!!) and point guard Thomas Mjos (181-90) added 9 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for the hosts. Kongsberg have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Defending champion Centrum dropped to the third place with two games lost. Kongsberg's next round opponent will be Tromso (#8) at home and are hoping to win another game. Centrum will play against the league's second-placed Froya Basket (#2) in Laksevag and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
