Regular Season Round 4: MKK Siedlce - Energa Torun 69-80

Bottom-ranked MKK Siedlce is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to fourth ranked Energa Torun (3-1) 80-69 on Wednesday evening. The game without a history. Energa Torun led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Energa Torun made 8 blocks. Even 20 points and 8 rebounds by Ukrainian forward Oksana Mollova (188-88) did not help to save the game for MKK Siedlce. Forward Magdalena Koperwas (177-93) added 6 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Energa Torun keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser MKK Siedlce still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Basket Gdynia.
