Regular Season Round 4: JAS FBG - Widzew 79-61

Very expected game when 10th ranked Widzew (1-3) lost to fifth ranked JAS FBG (3-1) in Sosnowiec 61-79. The game was mostly controlled by JAS FBG. Widzew was better in fourth quarter 21-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Widzew 46-26 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. JAS FBG brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. American point guard Ketia Swanier (170-86, college: Connecticut) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Widzew at the other side dropped to the ninth place with three games lost. JAS FBG's next round opponent will be Energa Torun (#5) on the road.
