Very important is a road loss of third ranked Ferrocarril (5-4) against ninth ranked Quilmes MP (3-7) on Thursday night. Visiting Ferrocarril was defeated by Quilmes MP in Mar del Plata 96-83. It looked good early as Ferrocarril took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Quilmes MP had a 25-23 second period charge getting the lead and Ferrocarril was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 83-96. Strangely Ferrocarril outrebounded Quilmes MP 37-24 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was international guard Luca Vildoza (190-95) who scored 19 points and 4 assists. Enzo Ruiz (193-88, agency: DTMones) chipped in 19 points. International point guard Franco Balbi (185-89) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists and Martin Cuello (193-93) added 21 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for the guests. Four Quilmes MP and five Ferrocarril players scored in double figures. Quilmes MP moved-up to eighth place in Sur. Ferrocarril at the other side dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. Quilmes MP will have a break next round. Ferrocarril's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Buenos Aires Boca Juniors.
