Regular Season Round 3: MKS DG - Anwil 70-56

MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (3-1) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat Anwil (1-2) 70-56. The game was mostly controlled by MKS Dabrowa Gornicza. Anwil managed to win fourth quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza outrebounded Anwil 36-24 including a 30-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a quality performance for American point guard Kerron Johnson (183-90, college: Belmont) who led the winners and scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. The former international Piotr Pamula (195-90) accounted for 14 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Four MKS Dabrowa Gornicza players scored in double figures. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza's coach Drazen Anzulovic used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Russia Fedor Dmitriev (204-84, agency: Alti Sport) came up with 9 points and 4 assists and Belgian-American guard Tyler Haws (193-91, college: BYU) added 15 points respectively for Anwil in the defeat. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza will meet PGE Turow (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Anwil will play against Krosno and hope to win that game.
