Regular Season Round 4: Malbas - Jamtland 76-93

Date: October 21, 2016
Bottom-ranked Malbas (0-3) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their third consecutive match to sixth ranked KFUM Jamtland (2-1) 93-76. The game without a history. KFUM Jamtland led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The winners were led by American forward Mike Bruesewitz (201-90, college: Wisconsin) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists and Croatia forward Dino Cinac (201-88) supported him with 26 points and 5 rebounds. Four KFUM Jamtland players scored in double figures. Even 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists by Croatia forward Toni Bizaca (202-82, agency: XL Basketball Agency) did not help to save the game for Malbas. Forward Fredrik Larsson (201-93) added 20 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KFUM Jamtland moved-up to fourth place, which they share with BC Lulea. Malbas at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost. KFUM Jamtland will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Malbas will play on the road against Umea (#9) and hope to get finally their first victory.
