Everything went according to plan when first ranked Shimane Magic (8-2) outplayed 6th ranked Kagawa FA (1-9) in Takamatsu 93-67 on Friday. The game without a history. Shimane Magic led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Kagawa FA's 26. It was a good game for American forward Josh Davis (203-91, college: San Diego St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds. Jamaica-American power forward Ryan Reid (204-86, college: Florida St., agency: Comsport) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Shimane Magic players scored in double figures. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) answered with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Shuto Mizoguchi (187-87) added 11 points in the effort for Kagawa FA. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Shimane Magic maintains first place with 8-2 record. Kagawa FA lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with nine games lost.
