Regular Season Round 3: Crema - Carugate 82-62

No shocking result in a game when Team Crema (2-1) outleveled at home Carugate (0-3) 82-62 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Team Crema. Carugate was better in third quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great evening for guard Paola Caccialanza (175-89) who led her team to a victory scoring 17 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Norma Rizzi (170-93) helped adding 13 points and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Emily Correal (190-90, college: William & Mary, agency: Interperformances) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds and point guard Claudia Colli (178-96) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Team Crema will face Scrivia (#11) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Carugate will play against Empoli and hopes to get finally their first victory.
