Regular Season Round 9: Nishinomiya S. - Bambitious Nara 89-83

An interesting game for Nishinomiya S. (8-1) which hosted in Hyogo 3rd placed Bambitious Nara (4-5). First ranked Nishinomiya S. managed to get a 6-point victory 89-83. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Bambitious Nara won third quarter 24-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Nishinomiya S. won last quarter 24-20. American center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) nailed 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import forward Larry Owens (201-83, college: ORU, agency: Three Eye Sports) accounted for 15 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Daiki Terashita (190-80) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and Nigeria forward Andy Ogide (204-87, college: Colorado St., agency: HMS) added 16 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Bambitious Nara in the defeat. Five Nishinomiya S. and four Bambitious Nara players scored in double figures. Bambitious Nara's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Nishinomiya S.. They maintain first place with 8-1 record, which they share with Toyotsu FE. Loser Bambitious Nara keeps the third position with five games lost. They share it with Ehime OV and Aomori Watts. Nishinomiya S. will again meet at home Bambitious Nara (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Bambitious Nara will have a break next round.
