Regular Season Round 6: Biofarm PZN - Sokol Lancut 48-73

1Liga top team - Sokol Lancut (6-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Biofarm PZN (2-4) in Poznan 73-48. The game without a history. Sokol Lancut led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sokol Lancut forced 20 Biofarm PZN turnovers and outrebounded them 46-32 including 20 on the offensive glass. 29 personal fouls committed by Biofarm PZN helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was the former international Marcin Sroka (201-81, agency: Promotex) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Power forward Maciej Klima (203-82) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Patryk Stankowski (178-97) who recorded 11 points and point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) added 8 points respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sokol Lancut have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record, which they share with Spojnia. Biofarm PZN lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with four games lost. Sokol Lancut's next round opponent will be Astoria Bydg. (#12) in Bydgoszcz which should be another easy win for them. Biofarm PZN will play on the road against Pogon Prudnik and hope to win that game.
