Very expected game when bottom-ranked Fiorentina (0-4) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Moncalieri (3-1) 76-62 on Saturday. The game without a history. Moncalieri led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Swingman Leone Gioria (194-84) fired 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Riccardo Coviello (197-88) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four Moncalieri players scored in double figures. Moncalieri's coach Lorenzo Pansa allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Andrea Longobardi (198-94) produced 19 points and swingman Jacopo Valentini (193-86) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side.
