There was a small surprise when eleventh ranked Alcazar (2-2) beat at home 9th ranked Blancos de Rueda (2-2) 77-69. The hosts were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 18-14 Blancos de Rueda's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 77-69 at the end of the game. Alcazar made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Quite impressive performance for American-Haitian guard Nick LaGuerre (190, college: St.Mary's, MD, agency: Duran International) who helped to win the game recording 24 points. Forward Ignacio Diaz (200-87) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Center Sergio De La Fuente (198-89) replied with 12 points and 8 rebounds and Mali center Boubacar Sidibe (205-94) added 9 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Blancos de Rueda.
