Very expected game when 8th ranked Limburg United (1-4) was crushed on the road by fourth ranked Okapi Aalstar (4-1) 105-79 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was the former international swingman Olivier Troisfontaines (192-89, agency: LBM Management) who scored 22 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). American Bill Amis (206-87, college: Hawaii, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. Troisfontaines is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Okapi Aalstar players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Okapi Aalstar. They moved-up to second place. Limburg United lost their third game in a row. They keep the eighth position with four games lost. They share it with Spirou and Liege. Okapi Aalstar will meet at home Belfius Mons-Hainaut (#6) in the next round. Limburg United will play against the league's leader Antwerp Giants and hope to win that game.
