Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Omegna was trailing by 9 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 21-17 charge of USE Basket, which allowed them to win the game. USE Basket outrebounded Omegna 44-31 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Power forward Michele Bei (200-90) fired 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Forward Filippo Mascagni (195-93) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. USE Basket's coach Giovanni Bassi used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard Alexander Simoncelli (186-86, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 13 points and 5 rebounds and forward Marco Arrigoni (199-91, agency: SPORTlab Agency) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. USE Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 3-0 record behind leader Napoli Cuore, which they share with Valsesia. Omegna lost third consecutive game.
