Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Nowa Sol (0-5) lost on the road to eleventh ranked Kalisz (1-3) 85-71 on Sunday. Kalisz made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Guard Lukasz Wojciechowski (184-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 9 assists. Swingman Artur Mrowczynski (194-84) contributed with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Point guard Adrian Krawczyk (186-95) answered with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and Jakub Der (192-96, agency: Octagon Europe) added 25 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Nowa Sol. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Kalisz left bottom position moving up to eighth place in Group D, which they share with Miedzychod and Rawia. It was Nowa Sol's fifth loss in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. Kalisz will face higher ranked Stal II Ostrow (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nowa Sol will play against Miedzychod (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
