Regular Season Round 4: Porvoon Tarmo - ToPo 76-81

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked ToPo (3-1) defeated on the road 6th ranked Porvoon Tarmo (2-3) 81-76 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 5 points. ToPo forced 21 Porvoon Tarmo turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Juuso Kauppinen (188-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Juho Hietanen (198-90) who added 16 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five ToPo players scored in double figures. ToPo's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side American guard Cameron Clark (190-93, college: Southwestern, KS) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import forward B.J. Cardarelli (203, college: S.New Hampshire, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. ToPo moved-up to second place in Division. Loser Porvoon Tarmo dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. ToPo will face league's leader Lahti at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Porvoon Tarmo will play against Jyvaskyla BA (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
