Regular Season Round 5: Huesca - Palma 82-67

Magia Huesca has registered their first victory this season after four consecutive loses. The win is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Palma (2-3) 82-67. The game was mostly controlled by Magia Huesca. Palma was better in fourth quarter 26-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Magia Huesca especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Lithuania Jokubas Gintvainis (193-94) nailed 19 points and 5 assists for the winning side and Serbian Andrija Simovic (203-95) accounted for 17 points. Four Magia Huesca players scored in double figures. Point guard Mikel Uriz (182-89) came up with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and point guard Carles Bivia (189-85) added 20 points respectively for Palma in the defeat. Palma's coach Xavi Sastre rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Magia Huesca (1-4) left bottom position moving up to fourteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Palma at the other side keeps the eleventh position with three games lost. They share it with Castello and Marin. Magia Huesca will play against league's second-placed Leche Rio Breogan in Lugo in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Palma will play at home against Araberri (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
