No shocking result in a game in San Giorgio where seventh ranked Sangiorgese (3-1) defeated 9th ranked Domodossola (1-3) 85-73 on Sunday. Sangiorgese made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Domodossola was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Daniele Mario Benzoni (196-80) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Guard Simone Tomasini (196-93) chipped in 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Sangiorgese players scored in double figures. Corrado Bianconi (202-94) produced 24 points and swingman Luca Falconi (190-91) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sangiorgese have a solid three-game winning streak.
