Regular Season Round 4: FoKoPo - Pyrinto II 96-76

Very expected game when 9th ranked Pyrinto II (1-4) was crushed on the road by fifth ranked Forssan Koripojat (3-2) 96-76 on Sunday. The game without a history. Forssan Koripojat led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Forssan Koripojat looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Bruce Reed (202-90, college: Pikeville) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) and the other American import swingman Roderick Flemings (203-87, college: Hawaii) who added 13 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Reed is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Forssan Koripojat players scored in double figures. Forssan Koripojat's coach Jouni Gronroos allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side swingman Kristian Rasinaho (192-93) responded with 23 points and 5 rebounds and guard Eero Lehtinen (194-85) scored 17 points and 6 assists. Forssan Koripojat moved-up to fourth place in Division. Loser Pyrinto II dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Forssan Koripojat will face Oulun NMKY (#9) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Pyrinto II will play against Jarvenpaa and hope to win that game.
